My L.A. friend Chana Keefer (in photo with her kids and me at Riley’s Farm) wrote an original work of fictional art that made the Bible pop to life when I read it. Chana’s book “isn’t a Bible study or a statement of orthodox theology — this is a lavish, epic, often violent work of fantasy that is saturated with biblical insight… Harry Potter meets The Book of Common Prayer,” said Shannon in Dallas.
“The Fall should be required reading for every lover of God, especially if you have ever been asked the question ‘why would a loving God allow…’ I hope there is more to come, I wanted the book to never end!” said Tammy in Tulsa.
“The Fall” is based on “the fall of Lucifer, the fall of man and the fallen nature in all of us that left me breathless and longing to know more of the love of Abba Adonai,” says reader Gayla from Tulsa.
Chana and her family told me about their church in Santa Clarita, a loving place with great music and messages – Real Life Church. I regularly attended this great church where Jesus followers encourage each other and celebrate the hope we have in Jehovah! Chana and her Emmy award winning audio engineer husband Mark are beautiful examples of what wonderful things God can do in this fallen world. They have an intimate, 20+ year long, happy marriage and four happy, home schooled children. I can’t wait to read her next novel in this series, “The Fall: The Rapha Chronicles.” Go to http://www.chanakeefer.com
