Ever thought of writing a children’s book about the Vietnam War? Well, Marjorie Haun did. She wrote “Little Bird Dog and the Big Ship,”which is a true story about heroism. Marjorie’s brother died in Vietnam in 1970, fighting to free the Vietnamese from Communism. Marjorie is a freedom fighter here and now. She heads the Western Slope Conservative Alliance Tea Party, where I had the privilege of speaking and joining the crowd in the park in Grand Junction, CO, on our knees praying II Chronicles 7:14 on May 4, 2012. After Chris Cassone’s new song, “Breitbart is Here” wafted across the lawn, a man named Richard started the tea party by reading several Bible verses. My speech was recorded by Sean Hunt who held his “Breitbart is Here” sign throughout the event.
Little Bird Dog and the Big Ship by Marjorie Haun can be purchased here.
I met a Vietnamese refugee named Quang Nguyen at the Prescott Valley, AZ Tea Party. He is now an American citizen who owns his own business and has a beautiful wife and two children. He travels the country speaking at Tea Parties and thanking Vietnam Vets for bringing him to America on a plane and giving him the opportunity to live the American dream. Quang produces the informative web site patriotnetworktv.com where Professor Dr. Terry Lovell educates us regularly on current events, bringing out the truth and the facts.
The Vietnam Vets have not yet received all the honor and gratitude we owe them. I would like to personally thank Tony Good, and my Washington D.C. tour guide, and all the other veterans who fought for my freedom. You are not forgotten. We thank you. We honor you.
Quang Nguyen signs his emails with this quote:
“Communism will lead a great person to accomplish mediocrity.
Freedom will lead a mediocre person to accomplish great things.”
