“Restoring Love,” the Glenn Beck event at Cowboy Stadium this past weekend, brought thousands of like minded Americans to a place where we could connect, hug, and organize for the future. We are fighters in the American Revolution II. To bring America back to its roots, Beck held the Restoring Honor event in 2010 in Washington D.C., I was there; he held the Restoring Courage event in Israel in 2011, my tea party friend Dave Perkins was there; Beck held the Restoring Love event in Texas, and I was there, thanks to the insistence of Dave Perkins who bluntly said, “You must go. I will not take no for an answer.” I’m so happy I went. I got to meet great leaders like Yvonne Donnelly who is the national chairperson for the 9-12 Project (http://the912-project.com). She used to be a liberal.
The beauty of “Restoring Love” to me was the concentration of likeminded people who agreed together – “Lord, we humble ourselves, we pray, we seek your face, we turn from our wicked, selfish ways, we will love others as ourselves, please forgive our sin and heal our land.” II Chronicles 7:14.
