Gay “Kiss-In” at the Mosque Day: August 7, 2012

Homosexual activists declared August 7, 2012 as “Kiss-In at the Mosque” day in an attempt to bring attention to Islamic Homophobia. Same sex couples across the nation will be “kissing” in front of mosques in an effort to silence the “hate-speech” and “homosexual genocide” practiced by Muslims worldwide.

Inspired by the Chick fil-A “Kiss-In” and since “Christians and Muslims tend to have similar beliefs about the nature and origin(s) of homosexuality, as well as God’s attitude towards homosexuals,” gay groups across the nation are partnering to promote August 7 as “Kiss-In at the Mosque” day.

“According to the International Lesbian and Gay Association, ILGA there are at least seven countries today which still retain capital punishment for homosexual behavior. All are predominately Muslim countries. They are: Afghanistan, Iran, Mauritania, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Yemen. The situation with regard to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is unclear.” (http://www.religioustolerance.org/hom_isla.htm)

Sheikha Sajida of Aljazeera.com posted an op-ed piece about same-sex marriage on 2006-OCT-26. Here are some excerpts:

Sajida’s main points:

She wrote that SSM and homosexual behavior are prohibited in Islam and thus is banned in Arab and Muslim states because they:
Would have a “devastating effect and chaos” on society
SSM is “reversal of the natural order.”
SSM is a moral disorder.
God established limits on humans which SSM would violate.
SSM is not a legal right.
Homosexuality is a bad habit.
Like alcohol or other forms of drug addiction, homosexuality starts with an experimental experience and quickly develops into an addiction.
All religions in the world prohibit homosexual behavior.

She cites the Quran, 7:80-1
“And Lot! (Remember) when he said unto his folk: Will ye commit abomination such as no creature ever did before you? Lo! ye come with lust unto men instead of women. Nay, but ye are wanton folk.”

Mohammed from Nigeria posted a comment in Aljazeera Magazine,
“America is the Devil country. … the U.S. has no morality. Anybody who proclaims to be in Islam is under Shariah [law]‘. A Muslim nation is not democratic nor secular. A gay [person] is outside [of] Islam and not within the fold of Islam. Gay is totally condemned in the Qur’an and Hadith and should be punishable by stoning. No apology for this.”

So, because of “hate speech” such as this, the gay community has rallied behind this August 7 “Kiss-In.”

Police protection will be present.

**The above August 7 “Kiss In At the Mosque Day” is of course, facetious. It is my attempt to make a point. Why did the gay community attack Dan Cathy, C.E.O. of Chick fil-A for simply stating his beliefs in an interview for a Baptist magazine? Why isn’t the gay community attacking Islam? Christians do not want to stone gays, or kill them. Christians love everyone. Muslims stone and kill homosexuals. Maybe the gays are targeting the wrong religion.

As a side note: I did a story on the Chick fil-A Buycott August 1.

Here is my follow up story on the “Kiss-In” scheduled for August 3. I went to two Chick fil-A’s and could not find a homosexual couple. Here is my video from the Batman Building in downtown Nashville, where I showed up at the appointed time, 8 p.m. Eastern, 5 p.m. West Coast, and only found an empty plaza.
I did find some street performers looking for a record deal. I am listening to their CD as I write. Pretty good!

August 7th would be an interesting day, but … noooo.

Love your article, Victoria! Very good of you to point out such blatant hypocrisy. I’d imagine if they tried to do that in front of a mosque they truly would need police protection.

I’m having difficulty trying to figure out if Victoria is posting this because she disapproves of, and wants to highlight, Islamic homophobia as yet another aspect of Islamic extremism and hatefulness, or because she approves of it? If she’s happy with Islamic homophobia, does she also believe in female genital mutilation, stoning of female adultresses while their male partner(s) get a pass, forced marriages involving girls who aren’t even pubescent yet, and similar quaint Islamic customs?

It sounds like her point is to show the hypocrisy of the gay activists. Or is it the cowardice? The gay activists have no fear of protesting at a place that they know will show them love in spite of their sin but they don’t dare protest at a place where they will be attacked.

sterno – why do you liberals always want to bring something else in and avoid the subject? Why do you try to confuse the issue? Let me make this clear to you since you cannot think for yourself – Victoria is pointing out the hypocrisy of the left and homosexuals. Because Christians will not hurt them, the homosexuals will attack their beliefs. Because the muslims would kill them, the homosexuals are leaving the muslims alone. Same “homophobia” different reactions.
Therefore, one can only conclude that homosexuals are cowards.

I’m not a liberal, I’m a conservative and a registered GOP voter. At the time I read Victoria’s article, I failed to notice her footnote stating that it was a spoof. In any event, I still don’t want us to start embracing Muslim theology, let alone Islamist radicalism, just because Islam is anti-gay. [I also understand that despite the ban on homosexulaity, there are lots of examples of Muslims in supposedly Islamic countries openly preferring boys to girls.]

Facetious? LOL. It was funny….I was going to add “beheadings to follow:)”

Homosexuals are without doubt, not all there.

But, evidently, they prefer to be beaten by their fellow homosexuals and die slowly of STD’s, rather than die of sudden beat-downs by enraged Muslim.

What I found strange was in the 1st two paragraphs, quotes were utilized and not a cred to who was being quoted! But what I find outrageous is lumping Christians in with Muslims…. I can’t recall a Christian stoning a homosexual to death with approval from fellow followers! Christians hate the sin, love the sinner.. Just a tad different in those Muslim countries.

  • AlbertstheMan

Why don’t the Kweers go to Islamic countries to protest. I’m sure beheadings will get the lead on the liberal nightly new channels like CNN or MSNBC!! Now, beheading Kweers might just get me to watch Rachael Madcow!!!!

    Thanks Victoria. America loves you.

  • chuckie2u

I think it is a fantastic idea for the gay activists to do a kiss in at all the Mosques in America. In fact they should hold a gay pride parade in Saudi Arabia. Maybe the Feminist will join the effort.

  • linenlady

They do not consider it homosexuality if there is no love ……..if purely for self gratification, it is not homo in their minds………..go figure. They have also been programmed to lie in order to win over as many infidels as possible. How they take the kissing display, who knows? There is so much interbreeding to grow their pop. many say it has contributed to the low i q’s……….there are colonies where they stash some that are born with a condition that causes abnormally small heads……..research ……..and then research the author, publisher, etc. Don’t take my word for it..

  • Muslim

I’ve never heard of such a dumb way to raise awareness or whatever they want to achieve. Heterosexual Muslims wouldn’t even display that kind of affection in front of a masjid. The religion teaches us to not display such affection in public. So aren’t you making it even more difficult for the event to be a success by breaking more guidelines set for Muslims. Giving people more reason to speak out as they’ll see it as extremely disrespectful?

I am Muslim myself and nowhere in the Quran does it say harm or punish homosexuals in any way. The Quran does forbid anal sex and does not condone homosexuality. However most religions teach that everyone has their own test and perhaps the test God sent for those that are attracted to the same sex, is to control those desires.

That’s my opinion, not here to argue and you don’t have to agree. Just think about it.

  • Jane18

Sin is sin! As a CHRISTian woman I do not want any homosexual person stoned, killed, etc., but, just as stealing, murder, is a sin, I know homosexuality is also, because GOD says it is. One day these people will know it is wrong too, when they hear some of the saddest words at that “time”, “depart from me, I never knew you”. My hope is they will come to know the LORD, repent and change that terrible statement!

    You go Girl…

  • The truth

You’rea retard! Homosexuality is so wrong! Even god himself forbids it, that’s why your body parts don’t go together! Besides, this kiss in is wrong and stupid! There will be small under 5 year old children there who will be scared and confused to see people kissing and that people of the same sex! You’re ruining the next generation you gits! May Allah the almighty forgive you for your sins.
