Victoria Jackson Performs at Jon Lovitz Comedy Club

A fundraiser for Congressional Candidate Stephen Smith (http://patriotupdate.com/articles/stephen-smith-for-congresscanidate-ne-los-angeles)
brings Victoria Jackson back to her old digs in Hollywood, CA. She’ll appear at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club on Sept. 10. Jon Lovitz is expected to show up and commiserate with Jackson about the state of the union. Recently, Dana Carvey, (recent article on him: http://victoriajacksonshow.com/3406/ask-piscopo-and-carvey-about-2012-election ) also of the 1986-1992 Saturday Night Live cast was heard on the radio commenting on how the media and fellow comics have been noticeably “hands off” in mocking this president. Dana mentioned freedom of speech. SNL these days is strangely absent of president jokes. Remember Chevy Chase’s impression of Ford falling down? Remember Dana’s impression of Bush, Sr., “na-gonna-do-it,” and the relentless attacks on Bush Jr.? Obama gets nothing. Kinda weird. I call it “racist” – treating someone different because of their race.

Dennis Miller, an outspoken conservative and frequent guest on Bill O’Reilly’s Fox News Show was also in my ’86-’92 SNL cast. That makes four of us on the right side, three more to go. One by one, actors and public figures are getting bold enough to speak out on the communism invading our Capital.

Tax the rich more? 50% of Americans pay no tax. Tax them. They get 5 free candy bars from the government. Give one back. God only asks 10%. And, that’s from everyone across the board, rich and poor pay 10%. That’s fair.

My fellow comedians know the hard work involved in succeeding in show business as in any business. Most of them started out as I did, with nothing, and experienced The American Dream: with devotion, passion, dedication and hard work anyone can be anything in America. Obama wants to take this away. Obama says the government gives people success. Obama is not an American.

Jay Leno is wearing a flag button. Craig Ferguson has a tattoo on his arm of that colonial patriot snake thing. Are they closet conservatives? Clint Eastwood has announced his endorsement of Romney. Rumor has it that Norm McDonald and Adam Sandler are conservatives. Hollywood is such a small town and so liberally saturated that conservatives are in the closet, afraid of losing their careers if their beliefs are discovered. It’s McCarthyism, but the opposite. There is a secret group of show business conservatives that started with 2 actors in 2007 and now has over 2,000 members.

Being right was never popular.

I am now waiting for my other cast members to publicly denounce the Communist-In-Chief. I suggest they read the new book, “The Communist” about Obama’s childhood mentor Frank Davis, or “The Roots of Obama’s Rage,” by D’nesh D’Souza. After they are informed, I suggest they stand on the street corner with a big anti-Obama sign and a megaphone warning their fellow citizens that this election will decide – tyranny or liberty. Anyone But Obama. And once he’s defeated, let’s clean out the Congress and fire all the tax cheats, Progressives and America haters.

If someone is blessed with the power of notoriety, they should use it for good. I see Jane Lynch is publicly cursing people, and Roseanne is using her fame to encourage socialism. Her running mate said, “I am excited about the chance to infuse the message of socialism with the heart and soul that is missing from political discourse,” she said.

Gary Sinise and his Lt. Dan Band are constantly entertaining and encouraging our troops here and overseas. Jon Voight and Janine Turner are trying to educate the public on the dangers of socialism.

Sean Penn is publicly campaigning for Communist Chavez in Venezuela.

I had a kissing “make out” sketch with Sean Penn in the late 80′s on SNL. We could not be more opposite in our world views.

It is admirable to stand up for what one believes in, but not if what you believe in is evil. Marxism is evil.

I’ll be shining my fading afterglow of fame on truth. Join me at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club in Los Angeles on Sept. 10, 2012.
