The best part of the American Revolution II is the people you meet. Tea party patriots are the greatest. I met Ben Smith the Navy Seal and his mom Paula in D.C., and Dave Perkins at the Tax Day Rally. We are life long friends. I met Wilson, Riley and Devens in L.A., Marjorie in CO, Don Spencer in OK, Quang and Lovell in AZ and Danita, Jack and Bob Root in FL. These are like minded people in the foxholes of the war for America’s soul.
On July 27, while picking up beer cans and bread wrappers at a Texas park, trying not to get bitten by snakes and spiders, “Restoring-Courage-Red-Bus-A” Dave Perkins introduced me to Lala Deaton. We were “Restoring Love”. We don’t need the government. We the people can help each other. I will pick up the beer cans and wrappers left by others, just to show kindness. Maybe they’ll think twice before doing it next time. I’m a big fan of Glenn Beck and his ideas to restore Honor, Courage, and Love to America. I WANT BECK BACK ON TV. At the Dallas event, I met the national 9-12 leaders and many other patriots who just want to put God back into our country. A photographer at the event was a homeless man, living in his car who Beck had put to work. I met a tattoo artist – conservative. I met the director of “As A Mom.” I met K Carl. I saw Beck rehearsing for the 7/28 event, as Christians and conservatives mingled in the foyer of the gigantic Cowboy Stadium, selling books about our nation’s founding, and the Bible on DVD. Lala Deaton played us her new Tea Party Anthem, “Fighters,” and I can’t get it out of my mind. I love the song and I love her voice.
Lala took me to The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville where we got to experience the magic of hit songwriters performing live; Tim Johnson, James Slater, and James Dean Hicks. Check them out! Wow, they are good!
So, in conclusion, I went to Restoring Love to give love and I left covered in love, the recipient of love, loads of new friends, people I respect, people I will fight alongside as we continue in this spiritual battle for the soul of America. God, please help us as we repeat II Chronicles 7:14.
