Speaking at a Wit and Wisdom of Women’s luncheon at Trevecca University today I discovered “Plumb,” a.k.a. Tiffany Arbuckle Lee. She looks like a tiny fairy princess in a tutu with black ringlets and an angelic face. Her voice is perfect. Her lyrics touched my soul. I love to discover new artists that touch me. This “Chocolate and Ice Cream” song is adorable and happy and coming out on her new album. I love it!! The song “Need You Now,” is a big hit, and covered by lots of artists. I can really relate to it. Tiffany is married to Jeremy Lee, has three children and loves the Lord.
Here’s her web site.
Tiffany and her family live in Nashville. “Her music has been featured on a number of TV shows including “Dawson’s Creek” and “ER”. However, having spent years writing hits for other artists, such as Mandy Moore” and an American Idol winner, Plumb decided it was time to write for herself. Wikipedia says, “Plumb wanted to leave the music industry after the 2000 album. Lee received a note from a girl a few hours before what she thought to be her final concert. The letter was about the Plumb song “Damaged” that Arbuckle Lee had written and recorded about a girl coping with being molested as a child. The note said “Whatever you do, I just want you to never forget that you have changed someone’s life.” The note inspired Arbuckle Lee to remain in the music industry.” I’m so glad she did!
